When it feels heavier than you can carry, let go. You are probably trying to carry a burden that is not yours.
When you feel it hurting your hands, let go. What you are trying to hold is probably not meant for them.
When it feels too tight, let go. It is probably no longer your size.
When it leaves a bad taste in your mouth, let go. It has probably expired.
It is all right to let go, to release what is no longer for us, what no longer fits, what keeps us clinging to the past, what keeps us anchored to suffering. It is all right.
When we let go, we leave the way open for all the good that is to come. When we let go, we make room in our lives, open our hands and our hearts to receive what we have asked the universe for so fervently. When we let go, we trust that what we asked for is already on its way. When we let go, we strengthen our faith.
Letting go is an act of belief: belief in our ability to wait for everything we have asked the universe for. Letting go means trusting that what is to come is always better than what we have. Letting go means trusting our future SELF and our ability to create what we want for our lives. Letting go means having complete trust that the best is always yet to come. Why? Because we trust our ability to know what is good for us, because we trust the decisions we make, because deep inside we all know what makes us happy and fulfills our souls. Letting go is a test of faith.
Letting go is believing.
Letting go is trusting.
Letting go is waiting.
Letting go is loving.
Do not be one of those who say, “I prefer the bad I know to the good I don’t yet know.”
Let go. Trust yourself and your ability to create your future. Trust yourself and what your intuition tells you has passed its time. Trust yourself and your ability to recognize when you have learned everything a situation had to teach you. Let go, release what no longer fits, and grow. You do not know what you are capable of until you dare. So open your hands, open your heart, and let go.
“When I let go of what I am, I become what I could be. When I let go of what I have, I receive what I need.”
Lao Tzu
