About the author

Celia Coe

Celia Coe is driven by curiosity about people: what transforms them, what they leave behind and the strength they find to start again.

Celia writes from observing everyday life. Her texts begin with small details — a glance, a silence, an unasked question — and build narratives that invite readers to pause and see life differently.

A path made of stories

She was born and raised in Venezuela, and her life between Spain and Germany has opened doors to other languages, cultures and ways of understanding the world. Throughout her career in talent management, recruitment and market analysis, she has supported people and teams through periods of change. That closeness to human experience also runs through her writing: intimate, observant and attentive to detail.

Before shaping her stories, Celia was a member of Venezuela’s national swimming team. Sport taught her perseverance and resilience; emigrating broadened her perspective, and reading, a companion since childhood, nurtured her imagination.

She speaks Spanish, English and German, and writes from that meeting of worlds. In her pages, she explores culture shock, the ability to rebuild oneself and what it means to find a place of one’s own.
